Tried out this new app for the iPhone called CameraBag. My first subject was Petey the brown lab, and this is the Polaroid filter.

These two sculptures are part of a public art installation by Miranda July. The project is called “Eleven Heavy Things,” and consists primarily of gray pedestals with text written on them by July herself, encouraging people to stand on and interact with its components. The installation — which originally appeared at the Venice Biennale — is available for all to see and fool around with until October 3, 2010.

Let me in her closet…
Here are my two favorite illustrators— Carine Brancowitz and Hope Gangloff. I couldn’t even tell you who I’d pick over the other. However, I will say, Hope’s paintings are amazing, and I’d by one if I could. Pictures don’t quite do them justice.
